Sun Energy: temporary exhibition at the Electricity Museum

The Electricity Museum of Andorra is organizing an exhibition dedicated to the Sun Energy throughout the year 2011-2012. You will learn for instance how does work a photovoltaic cell or what does "renewable energies" actually means.
In addition to this temporal event you can visit the museum every day of the year, from tuesday to saturday, on sundays and bank holidays. The permanent exhibition examines how electricty was discovered and how the electrical and hidroelectrical energies have evolved in Andorran valleys from 1934 until today, thanks to historical facts and educative workshops.
The museum suggest to carry on the visit by an open aire activity- Engolasters Hidroelectrical Route- a guided itinerary suitable for all publics allowing to both enjoy the nature around Engolasters Lake and understand how the water is taken out the rivers and how the production of electricity is controlled.
Entrance Fees: 3€ (normal), 1.50€ (reduced), Free for kids under 10 years old
